Netflix is following up their first stand up special from Russell Peters, (Notorious-check it out today!) with possibly one of the funniest dudes on network television today.

Aziz Ansari stars on NBC’s hit sitcom Parks and Recreation and is bringing the laughs unfiltered and straight to you in his standup special “Buried Alive.” Available on Friday, November 1, Ansari’s special is 80 minutes of incredible comedy, as he pokes fun at Grindr, the show 16 and Pregnant and seriously getting into it with audience members, including a hilarious bit on how silly people get when proposing to their future wives. Ansari is also working on some new material and an audio download version of “Buried Alive” will be available from his website in the coming weeks for the comically low price of $5.

Ansari is teeing of the second in the original stand up series for Netflix, which shows that they are committed to the type of programming in the long run. If you’re a fan of comedy – and seriously, in today’s society who isn’t – then you must watch Aziz. Netflix is making a serious commitment here and this is one of those times where you simply cannot have commitment issues. Commit to laughs!
