Now that the holidays are over and we’re all constantly writing the wrong year on documents, its a fitting time to look back at what has happened here at playmoTV and where we’re headed in the next few months!

It’s been quite the year for the playmoTV stream team – we’ve made tons of changes, tweaks and edits to our system that we hope you guys enjoy. Our team has been expanded to ensure that we can continue to deliver a great product and, more importantly, move playmoTV forward in new and exciting directions.

We launched our new playmoTV Windows Linker which makes it tons easier to link up your PC and get streaming. Support for Crunchyroll and HBO Nordic has been implemented, which means you can catch up on your favorite anime and Game of Thrones… also, the other HBO shows, but come on… Winter is Coming. Last but not least, we launched a new DNS server in Sweden – it’s the first of a new line of DNS servers to make sure we are providing the best possible streaming possible. Super, eh?

As we move on into 2013 – see… I did it here and I’m not even writing 2014, we have a whole boatload of new awesome stuff planned.

We’ve already started rolling out additional DNS servers all over the place – our DNS in Canada is up and running, aye? – and we’ll keep bringing them online throughout the next weeks to improve your streaming experience. Go ahead and check our Setup instructions for the correct DNS address for your device.

A new Mac Linker is under way, which will make it much smoother to link your Apple computer to playmoTV. We’re also officially bringing out our location picker, so you can bounce between the different content to your little streaming heart’s content.

This year we’re also very excited to bring UK streaming to the lineup and – big news here, kids, so hold onto your hats – we’ll be debuting our awesome new playmoTV mobile app, which means you can keep us in your hands, pocket or wherever you want us to be mobile.

We know – we’re working as fast as we can, we swear.

There will also be little fixes and tweaks along the way. Big and small, we can’t wait to bring these brand new features to you. Here’s hoping your 2014 (got it this time!) is as healthy and productive as we expect ours to be!
