What is Showtime?
Showtime is a US video subscription service, offering high quality content. The network is famous for hit shows like Homeland, Dexter, Ray Donovan and more. All of these shows, and a lot more are available on Showtime.
If you have a US cable subscription or you subscribe to a live TV service like Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, fuboTV or DirecTV Stream then you can purchase Showtime as an add-on to your live TV service and get access to Showtime Anytime.
I wanna access Showtime right now. What do I need to do?
If you’re not a playmoTV user then you need to do the following (existing users that are linked can go to step 3):
- Sign up for a playmoTV account (takes less than a minute if you sign up via Facebook)
- Link your computer or device to the playmoTV gateway so we can help you access Sling.
- Sign up for Showtime via their app.
How to much does Showtime cost?
Showtime costs $10.99/month, with 3 simultaneous streams, so you can share your account with a friend or family member if you want.
Showtime is also available as an add-on to Hulu, at which point the service costs $8.99/month ($2 less than an individual subscription). If you have a Hulu subscription. visit hulu.com/start/showtime to add Showtime to your Hulu account.
How do I subscribe to Showtime?
You have to subscribe to Showtime via their apps on iOS, Amazon Fire TV or Android. Our preferred method is on iOS via US Apple account (you can fund the account using US iTunes gift cards).
Once you have created your subscription you can use your Showtime credentials on all devices, even the browser.
